How to clean and care for your wig

Step 1: Prepare and Cancel the Angle

The tools you need to clean and maintain your wig include a wide-toothed wig comb, premium wig shampoo and conditioner, wigs, towels, and any styling tools you need later. High-quality tools and accessories help to care for your wig, which is essential to prolong the life of your unit.

Step 2: Wet the wig

Place the patient’s vacation in a sink or basin under cold water. Gently push the wig with your fingers, making sure the water runs from the top of your head to the ends. Take extra care when washing curly wigs. Make sure the wig is secured so that the water doesn’t cause any additional tangles and knots. For longer hairstyles, run the wig under the shower head so the hair can flow along the length of the hair.

Step 3: Shampoo

Use a quarter of a person’s wig shampoo while keeping your hair moving down. Avoid rubbing, twisting, or massaging the wig, as this can cause tangles. Also, avoid using any circular motions, as this will increase tangling and possibly damage the hair.

Step 4: Adjust

Adjusting the wig is essential for adding moisture and volume. While your hair is still damp, apply a generous amount of conditioner to your hair to avoid using the bottom of the wig. While your hair is soaked in conditioner, use your fingers to gently tip the wig from top to top. Run the conditioner through the ends of your hair for about 3 to 5 minutes.
