Black Friday is a shopping festival created by the American online shop.org in 2005. It is generally believed that it is similar to the reason why 1111 was fired as a shopping festival by e-commerce. Correspondingly, there is also Cyber Monday, which emerged in France, Portugal and Germany.
Regarding the origin of the name Black Friday, a more common view is that this day is the first day of business after Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday in November).
Coupled with the fact that people usually start their Christmas shopping spree, many stores will be flooded with customers and make a lot of money. Traditionally, businesses will use different colors of ink to keep accounts: red means a loss or a deficit ; otherwise, black means a profit [2] .
Businesses call this Friday Black Friday, to expect that after this day, the annual revenue will change from negative to positive, and from red to black. Store employees used the name Black Friday to make fun of it, saying it would be a busy day.
Black Friday tends to be a big shopping spree, with sales being the second or third-highest day of the year, and usually on the Saturday before or on Christmas Eve.
